      鳊鱼和鲂鱼外形相似、习性差异不大，民间也习惯性地把鳊鱼和鲂鱼归为一类而统称鳊鱼。鳊鱼也称团头鳊、武昌鱼、扁鱼、鳊花、草鳊、长鳊。

      鳊、鲂鱼都是中下层鱼类，喜栖息在有水草的河湖中，主食高等水生植物和浮游动物。在池塘中鳊、鲂鱼既食各种青饲料，又食粮食性饵料。它们的生活习性与草鱼有许多相似之处，既能底栖摄食各种食物残屑，又能在水的中层抢食各类沉落食物，夏秋两季更能贴近水的表层啄食草梗菜叶，故而钓鳊、鲂鱼可以采用钓草鱼的方法。



      钓鳊、鲂一般不讲究钓点。养殖池塘的任何区域都可以钓到 。但在河道上，则应选择缓流或 回流的外围水域；在湖泊上，则要寻找开阔的畅水区和沉水植物生长的浅湾。无论河塘、湖泊，凡有水面植物的水区，必有鳊、鲂集群，且上、中、下各水层都有咬钩。因而在钓具的选择上要使用较轻的坠，使钩由水面缓缓地沉入水底。当沉钩过程中出现受阻，则说明钩已为活动在中层的鱼衔住，这时钓者可猛抖钓竿再轻轻将鱼提起。鳊、鲂鱼属中型鱼类，其宽而侧扁的身体使它在水中难以持久挣扎，但扬竿若不能一次便使钩尖刺透鱼厚实的唇圈，则是很容易跑鱼的。鳊、鲂鱼的咬钩与鲫鱼一样，较多地表现为抬漂 ，即漂体沉入水中的那部分会缓慢地浮出水面。提竿的时机应把握在漂体浮起而尚未浮足的瞬间。如采用浮钓方式，可将青菜叶切成2厘米宽的长条后卷成棒状挂钩，也可挂蚯蚓和面团。如抛竿钓鳊、鲂鱼，既可为吸食组钩配糟食，也可在组钩的每个单钩上分别挂饵形成“葡萄钩”。钓便于视频http://www.fish960.com/list-qitayu.html 使用串钩时，应配竿梢较软、弹性强的小型抛竿，这是因为鳊、鲂鱼的咬钩动作幅度小，不易观察，唯有竿梢较细的袖珍竿才有明显的抖动。
